STRANG SOFTWARE is the data controller for personal data processed through AlarmBuddy, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Norwegian data protection laws.

2.1 Account Data (VIP Subscribers Only)
When you create an account and subscribe to VIP, we collect:
- Display name
- Email address
- Profile photo URL (from Google Authentication)
- User ID
- Account creation date
2.2 Preferences and Settings (VIP Subscribers Only)
We sync the following preferences to provide a seamless experience across devices:
- App settings (dark mode, temperature unit, preferred voice)
- Notification preferences
- Analytics preferences
- Sleep preferences (target bedtime, wake time, sleep hours)
- Saved alarms and timers

2.4 Locally Stored Data (All Users)
The following data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers:
- Alarm sound files
- Sleep sound library

9. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time within the App. Upon deletion:
- All your personal data stored in our database will be permanently deleted
- Locally stored data on your device will remain until you uninstall the App
- Active subscriptions will continue until their expiration date (managed by Google Play)
10. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication through Google Sign-In
- Access controls limiting who can access user data
11. Age Requirement
AlarmBuddy is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at Contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:
